Spring 2018 White House Internship Program

The White House Internship Program application is available now for its Spring 2018 class, which runs from January 10 – April 27, 2018. The application deadline is 11:59 pm ET on Friday, September 8, 2017. Please see below for more information. Please feel free to share with your networks!
White House Interns work full-time and will be primarily placed in one of the following offices: • The Office of Cabinet Affairs The application deadline is 11:59 pm ET on Friday, September 8, 2017. Interns must be at least 18 years old as of the internship start date, and must meet at least one of the following criteria: • Are currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at a college, community college, or university (two-to-four year institution). • Have graduated from an undergraduate or graduate degree program at a college, community college, or university (two-to-four year institution) no more than two years before the internship start date. Please forward the website link to any interested parties. Note that all interns will need to complete the application by the deadline to be considered for this class. White House Internships are unpaid, and interns are responsible for finding and funding their own housing. Once the application period has closed, the WHIP team will begin reviewing and vetting applications. Each office will then receive a shortlist of potential applicants, and will choose their interns from that group. The number of interns each office receives will be determined later this fall, based off assessed needs in each department.
