Former Gov. Mike Huckabee (R-Ark.) is undergoing surgery on his knee on Wednesday, a new report says.

Huckabee booked the procedure so he can recuperate from it during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, according to ABC News.

“I’m not going to miss a single campaign event, so to all my opponents out there, you’re not going to get an advantage just because I’m laid low,” he said Tuesday.

“No reason to feel sorry for me,” the 2016 GOP presidential candidate quipped. "I shall live through this, I’m pretty sure.”

Huckabee is using a cane while traveling on the 2016 campaign trail following an injury earlier this month.

His right knee popped while trekking through an airport in South Carolina, The Des Moines Register reported last week.

A subsequent MRI confirmed the Republican has multiple bone chips under his right kneecap, it added.

“Everybody around me said, ‘What was that?’ ” he told employees at C&C Machining in Centerville, Iowa, last week while recounting the incident.

“I said, ‘That was my knee,’ ” the former Arkansas governor joked, according to ABC News.

Huckabee is not changing his future campaign schedule because of his operation Wednesday, the report said.

His son is frying a turkey on Thanksgiving Day while the White House contender recuperates instead, ABC News continued.

Huckabee plans on campaigning again early next week following the outpatient procedure, the news outlet added.

The former Baptist minister is fighting for traction amid one of the most crowded GOP presidential primaries in recent memory.

Huckabee ranks seventh out of 14 Republican White House hopefuls next year, according to the latest RealClearPolitics average of samplings.

Huckabee's standing in the polls forced him onto the undercard GOP presidential debate in Milwaukee earlier this month. He missed the main stage for the first time after three previous contests during the GOP’s 2016 presidential primary so far.
